3.4.3 (Optional) Independent Deployment AI/DI Unit
If the AI/DI expansion card inserted into the ECC800e cannot meet the AI/DI collection
quantity requirements, connect an independent deployment AI/DI unit to the RS485 port on
the ECC800e. The independent deployment AI/DI unit supports eight AI/DI inputs to collect
AI/DI signals.
