Connection of stack cable:
Step 1: Plug the stack cable into the stack module interfaces of two switches to be
stacked.
Step 2: Check the Link indicators on the stack interface modules of the two switches.
On means that the connection is correct.
7.6 1-Port 100Base-FX Single Mode/Multi-Mode Module
Caution:
1) In the case that the optical interface does not connect with an optical connector or the dust-proof cap
is removed, it is possible for invisible rays to emit from this optical interface. Therefore, do not stare at
the optical interface.
2) If no optical connector is installed in the optical interface, make sure a dust-proof cap is placed on it.
3) Before connecting the optical fiber, make sure the connector matches the adopted optical fiber.
100Base-FX Multi-mode module provides one 100Base-FX Multi-mode optical
interface for users.
100Base-FX Single Mode module provides a 100Base-FX Single Mode optical
interface for users.
100Base-FX Multi-mode/Single Mode interfaces operate in 100M full-duplex mode.
7.6.1 Module Panel and the Indicators
The panel of 100Base-FX Single Mode module is shown as follow:

The descriptions of panel indicators are as follows:

Indicator Status description
LINK Off means that the line is disconnected. On means the line is connected.
ACTIVE
Off means that no data is being received or sent. Blinking means data is being received or sent.
