4.4 Example for Configuring MAD in Relay Mode
Network Requirements
As shown in Figure 4-4, SwitchA, SwitchB and SwitchC form a stack. SwitchA, SwitchB and
SwitchC connect to SwitchD using Eth-Trunk1.
When the stack splits because of a stack link fault and there are two devices with the same
configuration on the network, you can use MAD to reduce the impact of a stack split on the
network.
