7.2 Installing the Communications Cables
7.2.1 IP Networking
Procedure
Step 1 Install a communications cable.
1. Connect one end of a communications cable to the FE port on the SMU02S.
2. Connect the other end to the network access device.

Step 2 Install a communications cable (in a parallel scenario).
1. Connect one end of the cable to the POE3 port of the smart ETH gateway.
2. Connect the other end to the network access device.

(1) Smart ETH gateway
Step 3 Cover a PVC corrugated pipe over the cable parts outside the cabinet and secure the PVC
corrugated pipe to the cable hole.
