5 Electrical Connections
Precautions
Before connecting cables, ensure that the DC switch on the SUN2000 and all the switches
connecting to the SUN2000 are OFF. Otherwise, the high voltage of the SUN2000 may result
in electric shock.
Any equipment damage caused by incorrect cable connections is not covered by the
warranty.
Only certified electricians are allowed to connect cables.
Operation personnel must wear proper PPE all the time when connecting cables.
The cable colors shown in the electrical connection diagrams provided in this chapter are for
reference only. Select cables in accordance with local cable specifications (green-and-yellow cables
are only used for PE).
The DC and AC circuits are isolated from the enclosure and that system grounding, if required by
Section 250 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, is the responsibility of the installer.
