EXTENDING WIRING ON SMARTPORT

HARNESS
Use a special shielded cable to connect the
SmartPort
®
to the controller if installing the connector
more than 2m (6 ft.) of wire from the controller.
The use of shielded cable will reduce the potential
for radio and electrical interference. The SmartPort
should never be installed more than 15 m (50 ft.)
metres away from the controller.
For easiest installation, order a Hunter SRR-SCWH
SmartPort
®
wiring harness with a full 7.6 m (25 ft.) of
shielded cable.
