Monitoring Fetal Parameters
When interpreting a trace to which the +20bpm or -20bpm offsets
have been applied, the interpreter must subtract or add these
offsets (20 bpm) from the displayed baseline rate to determine
true baseline rate – failure to do so may result in misinterpretation
of the trace & inappropriate clinical management. The ULT2 +20 /
ULT3 -20 fl ags are printed at regular intervals as a reminder.

electrode)
Connection
An FECG transducer can be connected via any of the green sockets on the front
of the monitor (FHR1, FHR2, FHR3).
Note: Only one FECG transducer can be connected at a time. If more
than one FECG transducer is connected, the following screen
will be displayed:
It is possible to monitor FECG for a fetus independently of the ultrasound
monitoring. The FECG channel can be used simultaneously with the two
ultrasound channels for triplet monitoring.
Huomautus: Dawes Redman -analyysi (katso kohta 11) ei ole tarkoitettu
käytettäväksi synnytyksen piilevän vaiheen jälkeen.
Always check electrodes and their packaging before use.
Use only FECG electrodes supplied with the Team 3, or listed in
the Accessories & Consumables brochure.
