while holding the chassis in place.
5. Loosen all 14 screws (Torx 20).
6. Remove the guarantee seal at the point of
separation between the chassis halves on the right-
hand side.
7. Carefully lift the rear edge of the upper section of the
chassis.
8. Disconnect the MMI cable from the main circuit
board and remove the upper section of the chassis.
9. Loosen the 3 screws (Torx 20) holding the battery
cover in place.
10. Disconnect the battery connection from the main
circuit board. Open the battery cover and remove
the battery.
