Repair instructions
Function
The carburettor functions dierently in the following
modes:
Cold start mode
In cold start mode the choke valve (D) is comple-
tely shut. This increases the vacuum in the carbu-
rettor and fuel is easier to suck from all the diuser
jets (E, F and G). Throttle valve (H) is partly open.
See Figure 36.
Full throttle mode
In full throttle mode both valves are open and fuel
is supplied through all three diuser jets (E, F and
G). See Figure 39.
Part throttle mode
In part throttle mode the throttle valve (H) is partly
open. Fuel is supplied through the diuser jets (F
and G). See Figure 38.
Idle mode
In idle mode throttle valve (H) is shut. Air is sucked
in through an aperture in the throttle valve and a
small amount of fuel is supplied through the dif-
fuser jet (F). See Figure 37.
