16.3 Sensor guidelines
Keep deposits off the sensor for best measurements. Examine the sensor to make sure that there
are no contaminants. Keep the substances shown in Table 13 away from the sensor.

16.4 Maintenance
16.4.1 Clean the sensor
N O T I C E
To prevent damage to some sensors, do not use solvents that dissolve plastic to clean the sensors.
Note: It may be necessary to clean the sensor more frequently if the sensor is used in environments with sediment
(i.e., silt), mineral precipitate, biofilms, barnacles or pollutants such as oil.
