Description of Consumables
• Shielded Shielded nozzle allows the torch tip to be dragged directly on the workpiece.
• Gouging For metal removal without cutting. Use for weld removal or setup. Nozzle
shield may be placed directly on the workpiece.
• Non-Shielded
Extended For increased visibility and access for special applications. The nozzle is not
shielded. Maintain a torch-to-work distance of approximately 1/8" (3 mm) when
cutting above 40A to avoid accelerated consumable parts wear.
In the
European community, do not use the non-shielded extended consumables with
the hand torch.
