Problem

3e. The LINE VOLTAGE LED is blinking red,
and the power supply is disabled.
4. The power supply shuts off after it turns on.
5. The fuse on the incoming power line fails
during cutting.
6. The POWER ON LED is illuminated, the
TEMP LED stays illuminated and the torch will
not fire.
7. The arc does not transfer.
3e.1 There is an internal torch failure.
Replace the torch.
4.1 The torch is not connected to the power
supply.
Connect the torch to the power supply.
4.2 The retaining cap is loose.
Tighten the retaining cap.
4.3 The torch is defective.

4.4 Power supply voltage links are incorrect.

4.5 Line voltage is too high.

5.1 The power supply has exceeded the
capacity of the fuse.
Check the fuse for proper amperage rating.

Check power cable for a short circuit or loose
connection.
6.1 One of the internal thermostat switches
has opened due to overheating.
Leave power supply on to allow fan to cool
power supply down, then shut down and
restart. Clean internal air filter (if installed).

7.1 The work clamp is not connected to the
workpiece or the work clamp is broken.
Connect or repair the work clamp.
7.2 Work clamp is not making good metal to
metal contact
Clean area where clamp contacts the
workpiece.
7.2 The workpiece is too far away from the
torch.
Move the torch head closer (1/8 - 1/4"
(3 - 6 mm) maximum distance) to the
workpiece and start the torch again.
