Home (
CJ
) Key. Pressing the Home (
EJ
) key while holding the ALT key
down moves the cursor to the first input character location
on
your screen. If
your screen
is
unformatted or
if
there are no input fields, pressing the Home
key moves the cursor
to
the first location
on
line

The Home key is typamatic
if held down.
Moving the Cursor One or Two Character Spaces
Horizontal Positioning
Keys.
Pressing either
of
the two horizontal positioning
keys
(right-.or
left
-+-
) moves the cursor in the direction
of
the arrow, one
character position at a time. The keys are typamatic
so
that you can move the
cursor any distance quickly with only one pressing
of
the key. If you hold
down the key that moves the cursor to the right, the cursor moves
off
the
right side
of
the screen and reappears one line lower on the left side (as
explained in Chapter
2).
The cursor also wraps when moved
to
the left and
reappears one line higher
on
the right
side
of
the screen.
Double-Speed Horizontal
Positioning
Keys.
Pressing either
of
the two
double-speed horizontal positioning keys
(right-..or
left
.....
) while
holding the ALT key down moves the cursor in the direction
of
the
arrow, two character positions at a time. The keys are typamatic
so
that
you can
move
the cursor at twice the speed
of
the normal horizontal
positioning keys. When using these keys, the cursor wraps at the right
and left sides
of
the screen in the same manner
as
when using the normal
horizontal positioning keys.
