Setting the
ring delay
You can adjust the number of rings that sound
before the machine answers the call:
1 Press the MENU/OK button ONCE then the
á button ONCE

Display Shows Main Menu >Ans Machine
2 Press the MENU/OK button ONCE then the
â button FIVE times
è
Display Shows Ans Machine >Settings
3 Press the MENU/OK button
è
Display Shows Settings >Ring Delay
4 Press the MENU/OK button
è
Display Shows Ring Delay >5 rings
5 Use the áâbuttons to adjust the ring
delay between 1 and 8 rings or Toll Saver
If you select Toll Saver the telephone will be
answered after 5 rings, reducing to 3 rings if
there are new messages.
6 Press the MENU/OK button to confirm the
new setting
7 Use the CANCEL button to exit the menu or
press and hold HANG UP to go to standby
mode
