Call Screening The call screening function allows you to listen to
incoming messages as they are recorded so you can
decide if you would like to take the call.

The X2i is supplied with call screening switched off.
To switch call
screening on:
1 Press the MENU/OK button ONCE then the
á button ONCE

Display Shows Main Menu >Ans Machine
2 Press the MENU/OK button ONCE then the
â button FIVE times
è
Display Shows Ans Machine >Settings
3 Press the MENU/OK button ONCE then the
â button TWICE
è
Display shows Settings >HS Screening
4 Press the MENU/OK button
è
Display Shows HS Screening >Off
5 Press the á button
è
Display Shows HS Screening >On
6 Press the MENU/OK button to confirm the
change
7 Use the CANCEL button to exit the menu or
press and hold HANG UP to go to standby
mode
