Using reset The Reset command will restore the iDECT X2i to its
factory default settings. Use Reset with care because it
will clear the phone book, Caller ID and Redial
memories.
To reset all
handset
settings to
their defaults:
1 Press the MENU button

The display shows Main Menu >Phonebook
2 Press the â button THREE times
è
The display shows Main Menu >Advance Set
3 Press the MENU/OK button then the â
button FIVE times
è
Display shows Advance Set >Reset
4 Press the MENU/OK button
è
Display Shows Enter PIN
5 Key in the PIN (the default is 0000) and
press the MENU/OK button
è
You will hear a long confirmation beep and
the display shows
Reset >Waiting
6 Use the CANCEL button to exit the menu or
press and hold HANG UP to go to standby
mode
