Sound insulation mats
In order to avoid structure-borne sound transmissi-
ons, the heat pump must be installed on a horizontal,
level and weight-bearing surface (concrete plate or
similar).
In the case of oating screed, the screed and the
impact sound insulation must be recessed around the
heat pump to ensure low noise levels when the heat
pump is operating (see adjacent illustration).
In the shipment of iPump A heat pumps are two pcs.
of sound insulation mats. The mats must be placed
under the heat pump.
The internal unit of the iPump must be lowered tight to
the sound insulation mats after the sound insulation
mats have been placed underneath.
This is done by turning the four adjustable feet with
a suitable hexagon key. See the illustration opposite.
The weight of the iPump indoor unit must
not rest completely on the sound insulation
mat after it has been lowered, otherwise
there is a risk that the heat pump will be-
come unstable and tip to the side.
