5.2 RS232 Communication Port Connection
You set the jumper with a silkscreen side up.
9-pin connector (COM Port, D-SUB 9P Female) is required to connect serial communication RS-232 between
Main Unit and PC (Personal Computer)
- Connect RS232 TX, Yellow wire of Main Unit to pin number 2 of 9-pin connector.
- Connect RS232 Rx, Grey wire of Main Unit to pin number 3 of 9-pin connector.
- Connect GND, Black wire of Main Unit to pin number 5 of 9-pin connector.
- Plug in 9-pin connector to COM1 or COM2 Port of PC
- Install and run Application Software.
5.3 RS485 Communication Port Connection
You set the jumper with a silkscreen side up.
RS-485/RS-232 converter is required to connect serial communication RS485 between Main Unit and PC
(Personal Computer). The converter used CNP200A.
- Connect RS485 A, Grey wire of Main Unit to Red wire of CNP200A converter.
- Connect RS485 B, Yellow wire of Main Unit to Grey wire of CNP200A converter.
- Plug in RS232 9-pin connector of CNP200A converter to COM1 or COM2 Port of PC.
- Install and run application software.
