8.1.3 Offline parameter setting

The AL1102 supports the offline parameter setting. In this context, the user creates and stores a
configuration for the unit and the connected IO-Link devices without being connected to the AL1102.
The configuration created in this way can be stored as a file (*.lrp) and loaded to the device and
activated at a later date.

An active VPN connection blocks the access of the parameter setting software LR DEVICE to
the Profinet interface of the AL1102.
► Deactivate the VPN connection in order to be able to access the AL1102 with the LR
DEVICE.
