3.3 YEARLY MAINTENANCE.
- Check the integrity of the storage tank
/ cylinder magnesium anode.
- Check tightness of the assembly ele-
ments (screws, bolts, plugs, structure
elements, etc.).
- Check that the system is in good
condition.
- Check for water leaks or oxidation
from/on the ttings.
- Perform a visual check to make sure
that the safety and control devices
have not been tampered with and in
particular, the regulator probe, the
expansion vessel and the safety valve.
- In case of hard water it is advisable to
remove the lime scale from the boiler
at least once a year.
- Service the Internal Unit according to
the guidelines in the relative instruc-
tion booklet.
- Service the External Unit according to
the guidelines in the relative instruc-
tion booklet.
Vent
Any air present in the system must
be bled:
- upon start-up (aer lling)
- if necessary, e.g. in the event of break-
down.
Replacing the anode
e anode (a2) present in the storage
tank must be replaced every year, as
shown below.
3.4 DECOMMISSIONING.
In the event of permanent system
shutdown, contact professional sta
for the procedures and ensure that the
electrical, water and gas supply lines are
shut o and disconnected and that the
solar collector (if present) is covered.
