5.4 Peripheral Electrical Components
5.4.1 Fuse, Contactor, and Circuit Breaker
To avoid electric shocks, do not power on the AC drive or operate peripherals immediately
after a fuse burns or a circuit breaker trips. Instead, wait at least a period of time specified
on the product warning label before further operations. Failure to comply will result in
product damage, several injuries, or even death.
To comply with EN 6180051 and UL61800‑5‑1 standards, install a fuse/circuit breaker
on the input side of the drive to prevent accidents caused by short circuit in the
internal circuit.
The following tables list recommended fuses and circuit breakers manufactured by
Bussmann.
