How to Set the BIOS Setup Configuration Jumper
This three-pin jumper block, shown in Figure 14, enables all desktop board configuration to be
done in BIOS Setup. Table 4 shows the jumper settings for the Setup program modes.
CAUTION
Always turn off the computer and unplug the power cord from the computer before changing the
jumper. Moving the jumper with the power on may result in unreliable computer operation.

After the Power-On Self-Test (POST) runs, the BIOS displays the
Maintenance Menu. Use this menu to clear passwords, to clear
Wired for Management Boot Integrity Service (BIS) credentials,
and to change extended configuration memory settings.
