This kit allows external access to the Intel® Omni-Path Host Fabric Interface (Intel® OP HFI) of
fabric supported processors. The connection to the external access is done through two
QSFP+28 style connections.
The IFT Carrier add-in card can only be supported when installed to a PCIe add-in card slot on
Riser 2. No PCIe related signals are passed through; the slot is only being used for mechanical
mounting along with drawing power and SMBus signals.
Kit includes:
(1) – IFT Carrier PCIe Add-in Board
(1) – 235 mm cable (iPN H79267-xxx), 1 port, PCIe add-in card to Fabric Processor #1
(1) – 430 mm 2x12 HFI Sideband Y Cable, Single Intel Omni-Path Sideband IFT Carrier to dual
Intel Omni-Path CPU connectors (PCIe add-in card to server board CPU HFI Sideband
connectors)
(1) – Fabric Processor Clip
Additional required accessory for dual fabric processor support:
Dual Fabric processor configurations require the following additional accessory kits to be
ordered separately:
• Cable kit AXXCBL235IFPR1 – 235mm cable (iPN H79272-xxx), PCIe Add-in card to Fabric
Processor #2
• Fabric Processor Clip Kit FXXCPUCLIPF – Used to attach fabric enabled processor to
processor heat sink
Important: This product is only compatible with external Intel® Omni-Path passive cables
(copper) and active cables (optical) up to class 3. For a list of recommended cables, contact your
Intel representative.

heat sink (heat sink only, no fan) or non-Intel GPGPU with passive heat sink.
Kit includes:
(1) – High airflow air duct
Note: Intel Xeon Phi cards with active heat sinks are not supported in systems confgured with
the high air flow air duct.
Additional required accessory:
• High Air flow Air Duct Bracket Kit which includes the metal shipping bracket and non-Intel
