4-Port PCIe* (x16 to x16) SSD Retimer
Add-In Card 4P (OCuLink)
The SSD retimer add-in card connects up to four x4 PCIe Gen3 links from any standard x16
PCIe slot on the baseboard to a PCIe SSD capable HSBP via four bundled OCuLink cables. The
retimer is a low profile form factor standard x16 PCIe card.
Kit includes:
(1) – 4-Port PCIe SSD Retimer AIC – iPN H88402-xxx
(1) – 350 mm PEM Cable – iPN J14812-xxx
(1) – Low profile bracket – iPN J32838-xxx
Additional required accessory:
Connection to a PCIe capable HSBP requires the addition of one of the following cable kits for
each retimer:
• R1208 – iPC A1U4PRTCXCXK
• R2208, R2208+8 and R2224 – iPC A2U4PRTCXCXK
Note: PCIe retimer card installed to Riser #1 is not supported. PCIe retimer card is not
compatible with R2312WFxxx systems.
4 Port PCIe* x8 Switch Add-In Card
This switch add-in card is used to increase the number of PCIe SSD drives within the system by

Additional required accessory:
The following cable kit is required to connect the 4-port switch to the HSBP in R1208 system:
