Note: In 2019, Intel released the 2
nd
Gen Intel® Xeon® processor Scalable family. To enable support for the new processor family, Intel created an
updated system software stack including the system BIOS and other system firmware.
In support of the 2
nd
Gen Intel Xeon processor Scalable family, Intel began pre-loading the supporting system software stack onto all server boards in
the Intel® Server S2600WF product family. All server boards with pre-loaded system software stacks compatible with the 2
nd
Gen Intel® Xeon®
processor Scalable family can be identified by a product order code ending in ‘R’.
Existing server boards in the Intel® Server S2600WF product family with product codes that do NOT end in ‘R’ can be made to support the 2
nd
Gen
Intel® Xeon® processor Scalable family by updating the system software stack. A system update package (SUP) with the latest system software stack
can be downloaded from https://downloadcenter.intel.com
