The maximum stretch is 400%. This is a limitation of the algorithm. However, an already
stretched and saved file can be re-stretched.
Granulation
The granulation is a relative number from 1 to 100. This number along with the sample rate and
BPM or note are used by the stretch algorithm. Different values can result in vastly different
sounds. Experiment.
Preview
Select Preview to stretch the sample and play it. If none of the above parameters have been
changed since the last preview, the sound will be re-played and not re-stretched.
Pressing the Run/Stop key is a shortcut to preview. If Time Stretch was displayed from Track
Settings, pressing the pad is also a shortcut to preview. That allows the sound to be stretched
and heard while editing field, such as granulation.
Press Shift+Back to stop the sound playing.
Save To
The destination for the stretched file. Options are:
Project: The project folder
Same Folder: The same folder as the original file
Other Folder: Any folder of your choosing
Project
The name of the project where the stretched file will be saved. Project is only shown when Save
To is set to Project. If the current project has not been saved, then this field is editable, and
there will be an asterisk next to the word Project indicating that a new project will be created.
Folder
The destination folder where the stretched file will be saved. If Save To is set to Other Folder,
then this field is editable. Folder is not shown when Save To is set to Project. Select the folder
name to display the file browser and pick a different folder.
Name
The name of the stretched file. Defaults to the original file name plus _stretched.
Assign to Track
Fill in the track, or set it to none to not assign the stretched sound. If time stretch was displayed
from track settings, this field will default to the original track. If this field is selected, pressing a
pad will automatically fill in the track.
Save
Select this action to complete the saving of the stretched sample.
