The MIDI tracks map file is slightly different from the sample tracks map file format.
The MAP file format is similar to the common INI file format. Each line is either a [section] or a
key=value pair. Nothing is case sensitive. All blank lines, spaces, and tabs are ignored. Any text
after a semicolon is a comment. MIDI channel numbers are 1 to 16, all other number are 0 to
127. There are a lot of keys, and a lot of possible values for them. If you would like to edit a map
file by hand, the best way is to start by setting some of the parameters on the S2400 then save
and edit the map file.
Below is an excerpt of a MIDI tracks map file with comments added to show other valid values:
