A pattern, song, or sound can be bounced to a single WAV file. The bounced file will sound just
like it does when the original pattern or song is played. When bouncing a single sound, all of the
parameters (level, pitch, filter, envelope, etc) will be applied, so it will sound just as it does then
the pad is pressed. During the bounce process, any parameter changes made (e.g. filter sweeps)
will be baked into the bounced file.
The bounce sound option is on the Track Settings menu under Track Actions. The bounce
pattern or bounce song option is on the File menu.
The Bounce screen has the following fields:
Save To
The bounced file can be saved to the project folder, or any other folder of your choosing
Project
The name of the project where the bounced file will be saved. Project is only shown when Save
To is set to Project. If the current project has not been saved, then this field is editable, and
there will be an asterisk next to the word Project indicating that a new project will be created.
Folder
The destination folder where the bounced file will be saved. Folder is not shown when Save To is
set to Project. Select the folder name to display the file browser and pick a folder.
Name
The name of the bounced file. When bouncing a sound, the name defaults to the original file
name plus _B. When bouncing a pattern or song, the name defaults to the pattern or song
name.
Mix
The bounced file can be mono or stereo.
Assign to Track
Fill in the track, or set it to none to not assign the bounced file. Pressing a pad will automatically
fill in the track.
