When the clock in jack is selected as the clock source, the S2400 will interpret a number of
expected but not received clock pulses as a stop. Set this to zero to disable the function.
Clock Out Jack
Function
Options are Clock (at 96, 48, 24, or 12 PPQN, or 16
th
or 8
th
notes), Run/Stop (on when running,
off when stopped), Reset (to beginning of pattern), or a pulse can be sent when any one of the
32 tracks is played.
Note Swing
When sending clock out, swing can be any of the available swing settings, or to the default swing
setting of the S2400. A setting of 50% is no swing.
Pulse Length
The length of the output pulse in milliseconds. If the function is set to clock, then the output is a
square wave.
Sample Tracks Map
MIDI Mapping refers to the mapping of S2400 sample tracks to output MIDI notes when tracks
are played, and will play tracks when received. All mapping options can be edited on the S2400
Sync screen, or loaded from a MAP file. The current mapping is saved in the global settings file
and reloaded when the machine restarts.
Load Map File
Loads a MIDI map file from disk. The file format is described in an appendix.
Save Map File
Prompts for a file name, then saves the current track map settings to a MAP file in the MIDI
MAPS folder on the SD card.
Save to project
This menu option is only visible if there is a project loaded. Saves the current sample track map
settings to a MAP file in the in the project folder. The file will have the same name as the project
and a MAP extension. When the project is loaded in the future, the MAP file will automatically
be loaded at the same time. To disassociate the map from the project, delete the file using a
computer or the Browse Files function on the File menu.
Clear Map
This function sets all of the tracks’ modes to none, channels to 10, and note numbers to 36-67.
