Note Gated: A note on message will be sent with a specified note number and a velocity of 127
when the pad is pressed, and a note off message will be sent when the pad is released.
Note Toggle: A note on message will be sent with a specified note number and a velocity of 127
when the pad is pressed and released. A note off message will be sent when the pad is pressed
and released again.
CC Gated: A CC number and value will be sent when the pad is pressed, and a different value will
be sent when the pad is released.
CC Toggle: A CC number and value will be sent when the pad is pressed and released. A different
value will be sent when the pad is pressed and released again.
CC Single: A CC number and value will be sent when the pad is pressed and nothing will be sent
when the pad is released.
Channel: Can be either the track channel, or a specific channel.
Note: The note that will be sent if the mode is Note Gated or Note Toggle.
CC Number: The CC number to be sent if the mode is set to a CC mode.
Off Value: The CC value that will be sent when the pad is pressed, if the mode is set to CC Gated
or Toggle.
On Value: The CC value that will be sent when the pad is released, if the mode is set to CC Gated
or Toggle.
Dynamic: Check this option to send pad pressure as velocity, if the mode is Pitched.
A Button, B Button, Mute Btn, Solo Btn: Sets the mode for the button. The options Off, Note
Gated, Note Toggle, CC Gated, CC Toggle, CC Single all work the same as described above for the
pad. The mute and solo buttons also have the option of acting like mute and solo.
Channel, Note, CC Number, Off Value, On Value: These settings are the same as described
above for the pad.
Fader, Top Knob, Bottom Knob: Sets the message sent for the fader or knob. The options are;
Off, CC, RPN, or NRPN.
Channel: Can be either the track channel, or a specific channel.
CC Number: The CC number to be sent if the mode is set to CC.
Min Value: The minimum value for the CC value.
Max Value: The maximum value for the CC value.
Parm LSB/MSB: The least/most significant bits of the RPN or NRPN parameter number. To
calculate two 7-bit numbers given a 14-bit number, divide the 14-bit number by 128. The non-
fractional portion is the MSB. Then multiply the MSB by 128 and subtract that from the 14-bit
number to get the LSB.
