Disconnect the

fuel

pipe

joint

1 (at fuel

pump

side), joint 2 (at fuel filter side) and

grounding end 3 of fuel filter.

Attention:

The fuel filter should be wrapped up with towel

or equivalent, so as to avoid injection of

residual fuel.

Disconnect joint with following methods:

■

Hold

the

side edge

joint and

press

the

raised position of joint to pull out the fuel

pipe.

■ If

the

joint attaches

the

resin pipe,

push

and

pull the

joint for several

times until it

moves,

and then pull out the joint.

Attention

■ The

joint

can

not

disconnected when the

raised position is fully pressed down. Do not

excessively distort the

joint.



■ Do

not

disconnec

the

joint with

any

tool.

■

Prevent the

resin pipe

from

being heated.

Special attention

must be

paid

when welding

around

the resin pipe.

■

Prevent

the

resin

pipe

from

contacting acidic

fluid

such as

electrolyte of

battery.

■

not

bend

distort the

resin

pipe

during

installation and

dismantlement.

■ T

keep the

connection clean

and pr

event from

damage and

foreign substance,

please fully

cover

them with plastic bag or equivalent.

6) Take off

the

fuel

filter a

fuel

pipe.

2. Installation

Be aware of following precautions to install with steps contrary to dismantlement.
