All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician and conform to all national, state, and local codes.
When installing and using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the

isprotectedbyaGFCI.MakesuresuchaGFCIshouldbeprovidedbytheinstallerandshouldbetestedonaroutine
basis.TotesttheGFCI,pushthetestbutton.TheGFCIshouldinterruptpower.Pushtheresetbutton.Powershould
berestored.IftheGFCIfailstooperateinthismanner,theGFCIisdefective.IftheGFCIinterruptspowertothepump
withoutthetestbuttonbeingpushed,agroundcurrentisowing,indicatingthepossibilityofelectricalshock.Donot
usethedevice.Disconnectthedeviceandhavetheproblemcorrectedbyaqualiedservicerepresentativebefore
using.
Awire-bindingscrewforgrounding(labeled)isprovideinsidethepowerpack.Toreduceriskofelectricshock,
connectthegroundwiretothegroundingpointsinthepowerpackandofyourelectricserviceorsupplypanelwitha
conductorequivalentinsizetothecircuitconductorssupplyingthisequipment.
Thepowerpackmustbeinterlocked/interconnectedwiththepoolpumpmotorpowersourcetoensurethatthe
chlorinatoronlyoperateswhenthepoolpumpisoperating.
