To replace needle thread tension unit
To remove:
1. Remove the top cover, face plate, thread guide cover
and arm thread guide.
2. Lower the presser foot lifter.
3. Loosen the hexagonal socket screw A.
4. Remove the thread release plate from the thread
release arm. Remove the thread tension.
To attach:
5. Follow the steps of removal procedure in reverse.
