1. General Description and Specifications
1.1 General Description
The Model P-1010/1020/1030 are polarimeters designed to measure the optical
rotation of optically active substances. These instruments also enable the direct
measurement of specific optical rotation, concentrations, sugar scales, Brix purity
and optical purity. Substances that that can be measured include saccharides,
amino acids, pharmaceuticals, perfumes and many other physiologically active
substances. These instruments are also used for the quantitative analysis
discrimination of D-optical isomer, L-optical isomer and others.
