Measurement is automatically performed and standard sample data is printed.
3) Next, remove the sample from the sample chamber. Place it back in the
sample chamber 5 times to confirm repeatability of the data.
<Acceptance criteria>
At a temperature of 20 - 30°C, the data must be within the range of +3.325
±0.007°.
The results of repeated measurements must also be within this range.
Note: Acceptance criterion of P-1010 corresponds to the expected value in the Test
Certificate for interference filter. This expected value is calculated for a 10mm
cell. Also the measurement value deteriorates depending on the change in
the transmittance of the filter.
[Reference material]
The reference values for specific optical rotations of aqueous sucrose solution are
listed below.
