Draining the Filter
1 Park the machine on firm level ground, engage the
parking brake and set the transmission to neutral. Raise
and block the loader arms. Lower the backhoe to the
ground and stop the engine.
2 Drain off any water in the element A by turning tap B
Changing the Filter Element
1 Park the machine on firm level ground, engage the
parking brake and set the transmission to neutral. Raise
and block the loader arms. Lower the backhoe to the
ground and stop the engine.
2 Unscrew the filter element A. The element is hand tight
but may require a strap wrench to remove. The filter will
be full of fuel.
3 To assist with bleeding, fill the new filter element with
fuel before fitting. Install new element A hand tight only.
Check for leaks.
4 Bleed the System.
