Figure 1: Identification Label
A label, as shown in Figure 2, indicating compliance to FDA requirements is placed on the side
of the cassette.
Figure 2: FDA Compliance Label
A triangular laser safety label, as shown in Figure 3, is located on the aperture cover or beside
the output aperture on the front plate of the cassette.
Figure 3: Laser Safety Label
A warning is located on the cassette front panel of all source cassettes with the following
wording: “Avoid Exposure – Invisible Laser Radiation is emitted from this aperture.” Refer to
Figure 8.
A rectangular label, as shown in Figure 4, is located on the front pull handle of all source
cassettes, indicating IEC class of laser, and details such as maximum power of that laser class,
and wavelength range for the cassette source type.
