5. After the latches have been installed, congure the
frame as shown in the following Figure.

NOTICE
The frame contains two latches each side, none on
the top or bottom.
6. Insert the rigid DH lter into the frame. While holding
the lter in the frame, grasp the loop on the end of the
latch and pull it until it stretches over the header and
rests into the pre-drilled hole in the header of the lter
(see Figure 45). Repeat this with the remaining latches.
7. Ensure the lter is securely installed into the frame.

CAUTION
Take care to prevent contamination of the lter me-
dia before placement in the lter racks. Never place
fresh lters on dirty surfaces such as roofs or oors.
CAUTION
Pleated lters must be installed with the pleats run-
ning vertical whenever possible.
