To carry out cleaning with the cloth plate opened
CAUTION
Be sure to turn o the power switch be-
fore opening the cloth plate.
• How to open the cloth plate
Push this side of the cloth plate to the left to open it.
• How to close the cloth plate
Push the cloth plate toward the sewing machine.
Replacing the knife
It is not normally necessary to replace the lower knife since it is made of special ultrahard material. If the knife blade tip
has chipped, replace the knife with a new one.
Contact your distributor for the replacement of the lower and upper knives.
