To carry out cleaning with the cloth plate opened
CAUTION
Be sure to turn o the power switch be-
fore opening the cloth plate.
• How to open the cloth plate
Push this side of the cloth plate to the left to open it.
• How to close the cloth plate
Push the cloth plate toward the sewing machine.
Replacing the knife
Since the lower knife blade and the chain-o thread cutter blade are made of special carbide material, it is not normally
necessary to replace them. However, they should be replaced when the blade edge is damaged.
For replacement of the lower knife blade, upper knife blade and the chain-o thread cutter blade, consult the distributor
where you have purchased your sewing machine.
