Display Description of error Corrective measure
When you have depressed the
controller while the presser foot is
left in its upper position.
Lower the presser foot.
When the chain-o thread cutter
has failed to return to its home po-
sition and stopped.
Remove any objects caught in the path of the chain-
o thread cutter, if any, and press the chain-o thread
cutting button.
If the error persists after you have taken the aforemen-
tioned corrective measure, consult the distributor where
you have purchased your sewing machine.
When some object is caught in
the path of the chain-o thread
cutter and the cutter is unable to
cut chain-o thread.
Remove the object that is caught in the path of the
chain-o thread cutter.
When you have tried to cut chain-
o thread with the material placed
on the path of the chain-o thread
cutter.
Remove the material.
When an excessive load is ap-
plied to the motor.
(In such a case that the controller
is held depressed for ve minutes
or more)
Wait for three seconds. Then, the screen will return to
the previous screen.
When you have depressed the
controller with the cloth plate left
opened.
Close the cloth plate.
When the motor has locked up. Wait for three seconds. Then, the screen will return to
the previous screen.
When the sewing machine mal-
functions.
Consult the distributor where you have purchased your
sewing machine.
