Why JUMO Transmitter has no output signal?
    • C
      Casey PriceAug 10, 2025
The JUMO Transmitter might not be sending an output signal due to several reasons. It could be due to no supply voltage, so check the supply voltage. There might be a cable break or incorrect connection, so check the connecting cables. Another reason could be no input pressure, in that case check the connection to the pressure medium. Finally, there may be a fault in the pressure transmitter, caused by impermissible operating conditions, in this case return the pressure transmitter to the supplier, with a detailed description of the fault.

What to do if JUMO 4341 output signal is too low?
    • L
      laneraymondAug 17, 2025
If the JUMO Transmitter's output signal is too low, it could be due to a high burden in the current output signal or a low burden in the voltage output signal; in this case, change the burden on the measurement circuit. Alternatively, the supply voltage may be too low, so alter the supply voltage.

Why does the JUMO Transmitter output signal stay constant even though the pressure changes?
    • H
      hbutlerAug 26, 2025
A constant output signal from the JUMO Transmitter, despite pressure changes, can occur if the measurement system has been destroyed by excessive pressure. It also may happen if the output signal is being distorted by current limiting due to overvoltage, in this case provide the correct supply voltage. Another cause may be a blocked measurement point, so check the measurement point and clean or replace it if necessary. Finally, the measurement range may be too small, so return the pressure transmitter to the supplier, with a detailed description of the fault.

What causes the JUMO 4341 output signal to be too high?
    • T
      tharrisSep 1, 2025
A JUMO Transmitter's output signal might be too high if the selected measurement range is too low; in this case, return the pressure transmitter to the supplier, with a detailed description of the fault. Also, the electronics of the pressure transmitter could be faulty, or the supply voltage could be too high.

Summary

General Information

Technical Description

Installation

Safety Note

The device is not a safety component and requires adherence to regulations for hazardous substances.

General Installation

Operating position is generally unrestricted but may falsify readings in unfavorable circumstances. Consult staff for advice.

Fitting in Position

Ensure sealing faces are protected from dirt/damage. Tightening torque depends on seal type, not exceeding 200 Nm.

Operating Conditions

Must be earthed and protected from electrostatic discharges. Avoid temperature variations and exceeding measurement range.

Electrical Connection

Terminal Box Assembly

Details terminal box specifications (DIN 43 650) and conductor connection requirements for IP65 protection.

Connecting Cable Installation

Specifies minimum bending radius (120 mm) and proper routing to avoid condensation and ensure pressure equilibration.

Block and Connection Diagrams

Provides diagrams for wiring the measuring circuit, showing series connections for components.

2-Wire Circuit

Illustrates the 2-wire circuit configuration for the measuring circuit, typically for 4-20 mA output.

3-Wire Circuit

Describes the 3-wire circuit for supply voltage and measurement signal, e.g., 0-10 V or 0-20 mA.
