4 Battery removal and installation
Park the truck securely (see Chapter E).
Undo the screws and remove the front panel.

Place the battery cable in such a way that it cannot get caught on the battery when
the battery is removed.
Undo the terminal screws (4) and remove the battery cable from the terminals.
Lift out the battery.
Installation is the reverse order. When reinstalling the battery, note the proper
installation position and make sure the battery is connected correctly.

After installing the battery, check all cables and plug connections for visible signs of
damage.

Before starting the truck, the battery panel must be firmly closed. Close the battery
panel carefully and slowly. Do not reach between the battery panel and the chassis.
