■ When the main unit is turned on
Press [DIMMER] repeatedly.
• Each time you press [DIMMER], the setting in
the display window changes as follows.

The display window becomes darker than the
normal display brightness.

The display window becomes darker than
“DIMMER 1”.

When a video disc/file is played back, the dis-
play window becomes darker automatically.

The normal display brightness is restored.
You can turn off the display window when the main
unit is turned off.
■ When the main unit is turned off
Press [DIMMER] repeatedly.
• Each time you press [DIMMER], the setting tog-
gles between “DISPLAY ON” and “DISPLAY
OFF” in the display window.
You can lock the disc tray to prevent the disc from
being ejected.
■ When the main unit is turned off
Press 0 on the main unit while hold-
ing down 7 on the main unit.
NOTE
• Repeat this step to cancel the disc ejection lock.
(“UNLOCKED” is displayed.)
