Timer
8 Press [F AUDIO] to turn off the
main unit.
The playback timer is available only when
the main unit is off.
NOTE
Turn off the main unit by at least 1 minute prior to
the starting time you have selected in step 3.
While setting the playback timer, you can return
to the previous step by pressing [CANCEL] or
you can stop the setting by pressing [CLOCK/
TIMER].
When the playback starts, the volume gradually
increases to the selected level.
You can make a variety of playback settings by
combining the playback timer and the settings
for program playback, random playback or
repeat playback. (Refer to pages 31-33.)
When “LINE1” is selected as the source and “QP
LINK ON” is selected, the playback timer acti-
vates even if the main unit is turned on. (Refer to
page 46.)
1 Press [CLOCK/TIMER].
2 Press [CANCEL].
NOTE
Even after you cancel the playback timer, the
setting remains stored.
1 Press [CLOCK/TIMER].
2 Press [ENTER].
The current playback timer setting appears
in the display window.
3 Press [F AUDIO] to turn off the
main unit.
NOTE
When the power cable of the main unit is discon-
nected from the AC outlet or the power is inter-
rupted, the clock and the playback timer settings
may be lost. If the settings are lost, set the clock
and playback timer again.
1 Press [CLOCK/TIMER].
2 Press [ENTER].
Each of the playback timer settings are dis-
played in turn every 2 seconds.
Set the playback timer again from the
start.
Refer to steps 1 - 8 on pages 48 and 49.
The indicator lights up when the playback
timer is activated.
