Full system serviceability only when
using original “KaVo filter car-
tridges“.
It should be ensured that suitable pro-
tective equipment (e.g. mouth protec-
tion, gloves, etc.) is worn.
When after a long period of use the filter
becomes worn to some extent, and this can
no longer be remedied by frequent “filter
cleaning“, the filter including the brush
strip must be changed.
Take off the front panel and remove the
waste container (as described in 10.3)
Release the clamping nut on the filter
flange . Lift the filter flange slightly
and remove.
Raise defective or damaged filter at the
front and withdraw it. Un-screw the used
brush strip . Fit new brush strip with
three knurled nuts.
Pack used filters and brush strip in
PE waste bag (Mat.- No. 0.228.3076) and
place in waste disposal.
Carefully insert new filter and align it
centrally in the rear filter flange.
Raise filter slightly and refix the filter
with the front filter flange by screw-
ing in the clamping nut .
Carry out the further assembly as described
in 10.3.
Switch off power switch and wait
approx. 20 sec., start again and the unit
returns to normal operating mode.
