hard
disk

crashes,
it
can
be
re-formatted,
repaired,
or
repLaced.

cannot.
However,
if
you
have
backed
up
your
hard-disk

onto
fLoppies,
they
can
be
re-Loaded
onto
the
hard
disk.

each

area.
To
do
this,

the

PRO

User's
Guide.
2.
Use
PIP
to
transfer
the
fiLes
in
each
user
area
to
its
own
fLoppy
diskette.
Refer
to
the
KAYPRO
10
User's
Guide,
Copying
Fi Les
from
One
User
Area
to
Another,
for
the
prodedure.
3.
LabeL
each
disk
with
the
user
area
from
which
the
fi
Les
came.
If
you
ever
need
to
boot
the
KAYPRO
10
from
a
fLoppy
diskette,
that
diskette
wiLL
need
to
have
GENFLPY
on
it.
So,
to
finish
the
backing
up
of
your
hard
disk:
1.
Log
onto
drive
A,
user
O.
2.
Insert
a
formatted
diskette
into
drive
C.
3.
Warm
boot
the
computer
by
entering:
CTRL-C
