2.8 Control unit connection plan
with the motor’s flattened drive shaft in
the vertical position, vertically lower the
motor and the drive shaft into the reces-
sed area of the closure lever. The four
screws holes on the motor housing
should line up with the threaded screw
openings on the backwater valve cover –
now secure the motor using the four sup-
plied M5 x 12 (Tx25) screws (Illustr. 8).
2.4 Remote Signal Alarm
The remote signal alarm (Article Number
20162) is an accessory that can be orde-
red if required. This alarm is designed to
be connected to the Ecolift’s control unit
and installed in a room or area of a buil-
ding where the alarm signal will more like-
ly be heard.
2.5 Potential Free Contact
A potential free contact (Article Number
80072) is available as an accessory and
can be installed inside the Ecolift´s control
unit and connected to a Building Mana-
gement System (BMS). Connection in-
structions for the potential free contact
are available with the 80072. Any alarm
can be transmitted with the potential free
contact. During a flap check test (done by
pressing the Check Flap button on the
control unit) an alarm signal will be trans-
ferred by the potential free contact when
the flap reaches the completely closed
position.
2.6 Pump connection
The Ecolift’s pump has already been in-
stalled inside the Ecolift body and simply
needs to be connected to the control unit
(see section 2.2)
2.7 Cable Extensions
In the case that more than the standard 5
meter cable length is required, 10 meter
extensions are available. The optical
probe 10 meter cable extension is Article
Number 80889 (two of these are required
- one for the pump optical probe and one
for the motor optical probe), the motor 10
meter cable extension is Article Number
80890 and the pump 10 meter cable ex-
tension is Artivle Number 80891.
