Audible alarm
- Backwater has been de-
tected but the motorized
backwater flap cannot fully
close
most likely there is a
blockage preventing full
flap closure.
Manually close the emergency clo-
sure lever. After backwater is over
attempt to remove blockage as de-
scribed in this manual.
Attention: check backwater flap ope-
ration lever! In the case that the mo-
torized backwater flap cannot fully
close, the Ecolift will perform 3 flap
closure attempts in an effort to dis-
lodge any obstruction that may be
preventing the flap from fully closing.
If any of these 3 attempts are suc-
cessful, then the Ecolift will return to
normal operation and no alarm war-
nings will sound. If these 3 attempts
are not successful then an alarm will
sound this alarm can be acknow-
ledged by pressing the correct but-
ton on the control unit. Allowing wa-
stewater to drain through the Ecolift
may also help dislodge any obstruc-
tion. Pressing the flap closure button
can test to see if the flap can now
fully close. In the case that the ob-
struction has not been cleared then
the alarm will activate again and the
object will need to be removed as di-
scussed in this manual.
