5.2 Malfunctions during power operation-digital display

Battery is not connec-

Unplug control unit, disconnect
batteries and replace with new
batteries if required. If the control
unit is now operational, the con-
trol unit’s LEDs will display this.
Unplug control unit and dis-
connect batteries. Check to
make sure motor cable is pro-
perly connected, replace motor if
necessary.
Unplug control unit and dis-
connect batteries. Check to
make sure motor optical sensor
cable is properly connected, re-
place motor optical sensor if ne-
cessary.
Unplug control unit and dis-
connect batteries. Check to
make sure motor cable is pro-
perly connected, replace motor if
necessary
- Commissioning: the Ecolift can be pla-
ced into operation even if there is a
problem with the batteries – the alarm
notification can be acknowledged
- Operation: The battery fault alarm will
sound within 5 minutes. The system is
fully operational. Manual operation is
also possible.
This error will only be detected in
operational mode (see Section 8.2
‘Additional Functions’)
Comssioning: Commissioning is not
possible with this error
Operation: The error will be detected
during backwater or by manually ac-
tivating a test cycle on the control unit
The optical sensor cable is automa-
tically checked every 2 seconds

optical sensor installation
- Too much wastewater ente-
ring Ecolift’s integrated
floor drain
- Reduce amount of wastewater
entering Ecolift
- Check to make sure optical
sensor has been properly
connected to control unit
- Check to make sure optical sen-
sor is screwed to red marked
connection
- Check to make sure motor
sensor is connected all the way
to the right
